1st Day Of School (Go Eagles)

Tia started 6th grade Taylen started 4th grade
Wow where does the summer go? The girls were so excited for school to start. Both of them have some really great friends and couldn't wait to get to school to see them. Taylen is in Mrs. Hatches 4th grade homeroom, but she has 5 other teachers that rotate around the classes. Tia is in Ms. Lewis' 6th grade class ( I think Charlie or Billy had her as a teacher that is how long she has been teaching)she also has other teachers that rotate through. They are both doing great in school this year. We have really seen an improvement with Taylen.

They almost look like they like each other in this picture. Good thing I got a picture, this showing of sisterly love doesn't happen very often......

Chris and the girls got a new toy.....a pop up tent trailer. We took it out for a spin on conferance weekend Chris, Tia and Tay said they had a great time. If you know me at all, you know I would do anything not to be outside, but even I had fun. Of course we took the Kiems along with us.

We have been swimming at the Daley Estates pool this year. Chris and the girls try and go about 3-5 times a week. Sometimes, I can even be talked into going. This is Tia, Taylen and Dallin enjoying a dip in the pool. Below is Missy, Dallin, Tia, Taylen, and Calli.

Taylen

Taylen enjoyed softball, but she always wanted to make sure she looked good while she was doing it. She played catcher, 3rd base, and right field, in the PeeWee league. At one point her couch said, "Hey Tay try using your glove instead of your foot." when she was playing catcher. Her skills also improved and she had a great time, looking good on the field.

Fast Pitched Softball (Tia wanted it that way)

This week was the last week of softball. (Darn!) The girls had a great time, and their skills really improved. Tia played short stop, 1st base, and left field in the Jr. league. She was able to get some really good hits and stops. She really took it serious, and worked hard. Her picture is perfect for her, she is definitely 100% committed.
